Hourly Rate: $18-24/hour depending on shift and skillset at hire

Hours: 1st shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm OR 2nd shift: 2 pm to 10:30 pm

The AMZ West facility is a multi-faceted industrial coating operation, and we are seeking to hire Industrial Painters for our East Berlin, PA facility. AMZ has been in business since 1992, and we are steadily growing our team. If you have previous experience with painting, including automobile or other industrial painting or powder coating experience, we want to speak with you!

The HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) – AMZ Painters paint components and pieces for this vehicle build.

The Painter/Powder Coater performs a wide variety of painting and coating processes on steel or aluminum product with protective prime and top coat paints using industrial paint equipment.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Previous experience using HVLP paint guns, mixing paints, pressure pots, cup guns, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand paint specifications, including how to measure wet mils
  • Application of paint products to required customer specifications
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and standard procedures to meet customer requirements
  • Have an eye for good, quality finish and have the desire to produce quality work; great hand-eye coordination is required for this position
  • Maintain and clean paint equipment

Other Skills Required:

  • Maintain good attendance, at work on time on scheduled days
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs unassisted
  • Standing, stooping, bending and reaching overhead
  • Communicates well with others
  • Detail oriented and quality minded.
