AMZ Manufacturing has been in business as one of the top electroplating, metal cleaning and finishing, and assembly facilities, based right here in York PA. Founded in 1992, AMZ strives to provide top-quality products to industries like defense, aerospace, agriculture and medical.

The Electroplater Trainee Program is an integral part of our business development at the Pennsylvania Avenue & Boxwood Lane facilities based in York PA. In addition, we also apply finishes such as Anodize, Chemical Film, Electroless Nickel, Paint, Passivation and Phosphate.

We are looking for candidates who exhibit the following characteristics:

– Curiosity regarding chemical processes – if you are the type of person who wants to know the “why” and “how” to most things, you may be a good fit!

– Ability to work in varying work environments (this job is a physical one)

– Openminded and ability to take direction and learn from experts in the industry; this candidate will be working alongside AMZ team members with a combined 80+ years of experience!

– Dedication and pride in the work being done

– Goal-oriented; this job position is set up in tiered structures to incentivize growth and independence as mastery is achieved

– Calm, level-headed demeanor and a fun personality (because even though we work hard, we like to have fun while doing it!)

Candidates who enter this program will be designated as an Electroplater Trainee, with the ultimate long-term goal being developing this candidate into an Electroplater who can independently work and potentially train new hires.
