Hourly Rate: $15-20 per hour based on experience and shift

CURRENTLY HIRING ON 1st and 2nd shifts (6 am to 2:30 pm OR 2 pm to 10:30 pm)

The AMZ West facility is a fast-paced metal finishing facility located in East Berlin, PA. We are looking for entry-level candidates looking to get into production or make a change in their career; AMZ believes in building our employees, which is why we promote cross-training in our facilities for individuals who show promise and desire to learn. 

Potential Job Tasks:

  • Perform masking activities (taking parts and applying tapes, sealers, etc. so the part can go through the paint or chemical process)
  • Perform mechanical cleaning of parts (this involves sandblasting either in a room in protective equipment, or at one of our smaller hand cabinets)
  • Perform touch up on parts (when certain parts come out of paint, there will be areas needing touch up from where the hooks hung the parts; this candidate will need a good eye for detail)
  • Load and unload parts from coating process (all parts are racked on movable carts; production associates assigned to this area should feel comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs frequently during the day and be very safety minded – ask for assistance!)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Attendance – On time and at work on all scheduled workdays
  • Positive attitude – we are looking for candidates who want to learn, have fun, and do a great job at work with their team members
  • Ability to read and understand written/verbal instructions
  • Ability to understand blueprints is a plus
  • Ambition – the ideal candidate won’t be afraid to ask questions, will take notes, and will show interest in learning new things once tasks assigned have been mastered
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Standing, stooping, bending and reaching overhead
